And so it continued last night…
I got home and Mom headed out for job orientation (she starts her night job next week.) I walked into the house and was so glad to be home. Avery was taking a little nap, so I had time to run around the house and do some of the things [...]

It’s official. Do you ever have a day where you can almost see the black cloud that’s following you everywhere? This whole WEEK has been like that. I apologize in advance for any swearing I may or may not do in this post, as I have reached the very boundaries of my sanity and I [...]

Avery’s already three months old. I can’t believe 2009 is almost over and I’ve been blessed with the awesomest baby EVER for three months already.
Mikey and I make sure we take Avery’s picture with the same teddy bear (we named him Grampa bear) every month on her “birthday” on the 11th. We have three pictures [...]

Last night I took a Teeter trip again…Mikey hooked up the printer to my laptop which has opened up a whole new world of awesome coupons. I’m using Triple Coupon week to my advantage to stock us up on groceries so I hopefully won’t have to shop for the rest of the month.
I printed off [...]

So last night made up for the Rite Aid debacle (almost.)
Mom and I went to Target for diapers and wipes and formula and came across the Air Wicks for the exact same sale price. This time, the cashier was SUPER nice and took all my coups (including diaper and wipe coups) with a smile and [...]

I just got bit by the couponing monster. And it pissed me off.
I’m having a really frustrating time with this couponing stuff. It seems so simple and yet I’m still feeling like I’m paying more for items I thought were free, or for pennies, etc.
This morning I went to Teeter before work. It’s the beginning [...]

Oh, man.
They just announced they will be tripling coupons at Harris Teeter next week. For those of you who don’t know, this means they will triple any coupon that’s .99 or less. They’ll only take 20 coupons per day, which probably means I’ll have to go a couple nights after work.
I’m so excited I’m, like, [...]

Avery has added singing as a new activity to her morning routine.
She gets up around 6am and starts talking and whining in her crib. I hear her about the same time Mom does, I get up and rub her back for a minute until Mom takes her into the bathroom to change her diaper.
This is [...]
The COUPON Craze!!!!

So recently I officially became a member of the “coupon mom” club.
A girlfriend of mine and I were talking about how to save money and we decided to start clipping coupons. We didn’t realize what we were getting ourselves into!
I mean, anyone can use a coupon here and there, but did you know there’s a [...]
If a Girl Falls in the Office…

…and no one hears her, did it really happen?
The most embarrassing thing just happened to me at work, and by some crazy miracle, no one even noticed. I cannot believe it.
To give a quick backstory – recently, they moved a new trainee into the office and sat her in the cube across from me. I [...]
