I can’t take it. I’m used to having a large coffee with creamer and sugar for breakfast, a light lunch and maybe a small healthy afternoon snack to hold me off for dinner. That’s it.
Lately I don’t feel like I’m eating for two. I feel like I’m eating for fifteen.
To recap:
8:00 a small coffee and jelly donut (thank you, awesome coworker who brought donuts!)
9:00 a bottled water
9:30 a bowl of Lucky Charms with milk
10:15 a handful of almonds
10:30 another handful of almonds
11:30 the rest of last night’s Kung Pao chicken with broccoli
12:00 an orange
12:30 another bottled water
1:10 another orange (well actually, they’re Clementines. I’ve been eating like 4 a day! So good!)
1:45 a chocolate cream donut (thanks a heap, not-so-awesome coworker who brought donuts)
2:00 an apple
2:10 some carrots and cherry tomatoes with a little ranch
3:00 a bag of lite popcorn
4:00 a freaken glazed donut (DAMN YOU, horrible evil coworker who brought donuts!)
4:40 a small bag of plain Baked Lays
5:00 some more water and a few celery sticks
5:06 a few slices of cheddar cheese
5:30 a granola bar (and a prayer that I can make it home before I wonder how delicious a tube of berry-flavored lip gloss might be.)
Good thing I’ve committed to power-walking on the treadmill for an hour a night. And I like to think hauling all this food every day through the huge parking lot helps, too. If this trend continues I may have to bring my treadmill to work, rig up my keyboard and work while I constantly walk. My ass can’t handle another 4 and a half months of this!
